Who am I to you?

Christ "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matt. 16:16). My child, who do you say that I am?

What a significant question? If Jesus were sitting here in your presence today and asked you who He was, how would you respond? What would you say?  Hmmm, let’s see…you’d probably say something like, Jesus, you’re the center of my joy, or Jesus you’re my every thing!  You might even say, Jesus, you’re the air I breathe or the bread when I’m hungry.  But what are we really saying?  Can you be a little more specific? 

Well, I’d have to say some of those things too. More importantly I’d have to say that Jesus, you are the CHRIST!  You are my Lord and Savior.  I’d say Jesus, you’re the reason I’m free from sin and on my way to heaven.  You’re more than a meal, more than a song and much, much more than this life.   Wow, Jesus, you’re all that and more to me!
